Jack tilted his head in curiousity, and with that his after image disappeared and by the time either of them noticed anything i was behind them and said "im going to go freshen up for bed."

Goran and I burst out laughing before heading out the door. "He's no fun you know." Goran said closing the door behind him. I rolled my eyes and changed the subject. "I haven't seen mom or dad yet, are they out?" He nodded solemnly and said, "yes. You may use their room if you wish."

Jack exited the wash room he had a lot on his mind still. Jack knew ceres and goran were just teasing with him but the clowning around reminded him of what ella and him used to do as kids. He walked into ceres's room and collapsed on the bed. With that he drifted off to dream land.

I said goodnight to my brother and slipped off into the empty bedroom. I curled up under the covers and almost instantly fell asleep.

Jack got up and looked at the clock. It was 330 am. He got up got ready in 5 minutes and went to the barn where ceres was sleeping. He saw ceres fast asleep and sat next to her bed to wait for her to wake up. He sat there and meditated to pass the time.

Jack got out of his meditative state and looked at the time. It was half passed four. He was annoyed that ceres told him to be up so early yet she was in a deep slumber. Jack formed a water medium sized water ball and splashed ceres in the face with it.

I shot up with a surprised yelp and turned on Jack bristling. "WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU?!" I demanded furiously. I was never in a good mood mornings and this certainly didn't help.

"And unless you want a slit throat, broken neck or paralyzed body you will never wake me up like that again." I replied flatly and threw the rag at him. Now settle down while I go make breakfast. How do you like your eggs?"

Jacks eyes glown orange through the rag as he took it off. "Scrambled...like you will be if you tell me to get ready for an early venture as you sleep in...and you call me a slacker." Jack smirked as he took of his shirt to prepare for his morning training while he waited for breakfast.

"Hey, unlike some I had to wake up at 1 and didn't get to sleep until 3. So pardon me if I'm not all cheery when you throw cold water on me." I snapped before heading to the chicken coup and choosing some fresh eggs. I also grabbed some fresh bread, cheese and apples. I used a simple spell to start a small fire and began cooking the eggs as I let the apples toast over the fire with the pieces of cheese on them. Without looking up I sent two raw eggs flying towards Jack and hit him on the back. "Now we're even." I said while poking at the fire.

Jack summoned a torrent of water around him to test his power to see if it was under control. (Fun fact: Due to jacks habitat his skin on his back and his upper torso has no feeling in it what so ever due to the harsh water of the abyssal region of his planet.) He then started his warm ups.

"Hurry up and eat, breakfast is ready." I yawned as I set a plate down for him and then took my own meal. I sat down on the edge of the hay loft with my feet swinging over the edge. I whistled sharply and a dark shape flew down onto my shoulders. It was a large owl-like creature with midnight blue plumage, large gold eyes and a flint black beak. I flicked a piece of bread into the air and the creature easily caught it.
