I finally heard the whispers. Attacking the minds of the scorge. Smart. I thought to myself and just got up from my seat for no reason."Tavarius. Dont listen to it."

My breathing was heavy, the weight of the thoughts crushing me. I was confused. I'd shared so much with her, she was in a better position than any to betray me, and I wanted nothing, but to trust her; but how could I without knowing her own mind? This was all such a convenient situation for her. Did she really desire her throne more?

"Don't listen to it!" I yelled as the whispers started to grow louder and out of frustration I threw my glass of wine on the floor grabbing his attention. "I wouldnt marry you for my throne!" I said very mad. "What a nice little party" I said sarcastically

"There are voices?" I asked Athemise. I focused my energy and retrieved my bow, drawing an arrow. "If there are enemies around, I'll take them out." I assured her.

My attention snapped to Athemise, guilt overwhelming me. I shouldn't have doubted. All the meaningful time we'd spent together should have been enough to me. What was wrong with me?

Feelings of doubt started to overwhelme me again, but this time about my own suitability as a husband. But before they could take me over, I could feel an intense and burning rage creeping into the minds of the other dark dragons and myself. Horrified, I looked to what I realized was the source.

Justice was quivering in the midst of the crowd, anger bleeding from her as she looked on at Athemise's outburst.

"You filthy brat!" She screamed, leaping forward to attack.

Blasting a wave of pressure, I knocked Justice from her leap, sending her tumbling towards the floor of the hall. In an instant, the hall erupted into a battlefield.

"Excuse me?" I said to Justice and then looked around the place. "Lacie, i dont think the bow is a nice to show now that an intruder is taking over the minds of the dark dragons and driving them. Margurka, thanks." I said to them and looked at every dragon getting upset at what just happened.

"I knew there was no way this could go well," I shouted, smacking the jaws away of a pouncing dark dragon,"all teams secure the school!"

"Well one can hope." I said to him getting annoyed. I then spread a psychic wave that made every dark dragon freeze. "How about we all sit down and discuss this over dinner. We're all acting immature." I said to them casually taking a seat. I knew i wasnt strong enough to hold them for more then 10minutes since it was a big dinner.

A cold voice vibrated through the room "see how she only holds you back? This was all a trap from the beginning" a strong force slowly started to wrestle athermise for the minds of the dragons and once a few where free one made a mad dash to the door before "AHH!!!" he was cut down by one of the guards. Chaos ensued and the soldier that had killed the dark dragon soon blended in with the others.

I released everyone and tried to remain calm, "Please ignore that voice everyone! He's just creating chaos." i said to them but no one listened.

I gripped tightly into the table as I screamed out, "stand down!"

The dark dragons slowly settled as I continued to bark it and ran into the crowd. The room quieted and became still as I stood between the line that had formed between a majority of the dark dragons and elementals.

"We're leaving," I ordered, signaling for the dark dragons to leave; and they marched out, the air of hatred thick. Mercy solemnly forced along Justice as she attempted to plead for my attention in tears. I didn't wish to look upon anyone right now.

"I guess it was never going to go well huh?" I said to Lacie and Margurka as I watched them walk away with Tavarius. "You know for once we can change the hatred between us but we're all stubborn to not see it."

Still frowning, I turned to face the others before I finally left, "brace yourselves. This school will burn."

I saw him walk away, "It's all my fault. Now we'll be going into war, but," I said to them, "I don't think we'll let this place burn." I agreed with Margurka.
