I turned around and saw the stranger approach me.
"Seen me around? Sorry, but I have no idea who you are."
I turned to face the man with my cup in hand
"And to answer your question I'm doing just fine"
I give a little push to the stranger

[Tavarius]

"Whoa there," Danarius said, grabbing Helix's arm, "hands off the merchandise. Probably costs more than your house. I'm just trying to make conversation, not often you see someone like us around these parts."

[Dragonslayer Helix]

I scoffed after hearing house.
"What house? *I swing back to the bar* Come sit next to me if you would like a conversation then"
I grabbed the seat next to me with my tail and patted it.

[Tavarius]

"Orphan too huh?" Danarius said sitting down, "seems like every merc I meet doesn't have any real place to call home. Personally am a real literal orphan; grew up in orphanages and foster homes, all that shit. What about you?"

[Dragonslayer Helix]

"Came here with a dream, dream turned into rust and now wandering this place hoping to find a way to go by."
I took another sip
"My home is Haven but what's the point of going back? I'm like what you said 'a merc'. I used to a captain of an army but now I'm just here traveling, killing evil dragons"

[Tavarius]

"A merc with morals huh? Met a few of those before, mostly dead now."

[Dragonslayer Helix]

"That's a shame. Kill or be killed. Looks like they chose to be dead."

[Tavarius]

"So you have a name stranger? Maybe I've heard of your work," Danarius took another swig of his mug, using the opportunity to take a glance again at the warrior's armament. It was too recognizable to not be a big name in the business, flashy. Impressed the more unfamiliar clientele.

[Dragonslayer Helix]

"It used to be Helix Fulman. That's what my friends called me ,but now it's Dragonslayer Helix because that's all I do is kill dragons that are a pest. Or if you want a certain dragon to be dead that is."
I place my sword on the table as it gave off a woman's singing sound.

[Tavarius]

"You don't say," Danarius mused, "the Singing Sword himself! They say you make the battlefield a symphony of screams. Didn't think it was literally a singing sword, well then, what's a big shot like you doing in the peaceful little capital of Tempo Regi-Regin- this place."

[Dragonslayer Helix]

"This place? I came to learn blacksmithing but I had a dream to become the world's greatest swordsman. I learned from Militis but even childish dreams don't last into adulthood. The battlefield is where I belong. What about you?"

[Tavarius]

"Meh, you know, work," Danarius shrugged, "got a big contract a while back. Thought it'd be pretty quiet, but the money talked. Only been a couple weeks, looks like whoever signed the contract must've known something ey? That attack on the school threatened a hell of a lot of people, my VIP's included. Now I'm just waiting to see what happens next. I'm getting paid to babysit essentially."

[Dragonslayer Helix]

"So the attack on the school was from someone? I thought we were attacked a dragon or something. Eh, let's see how'll this goes"
I gulped the tea

[Tavarius]

"Indeed," Danarius rested his mug, belching before calling to the barmaid, "I'll take the private room sweetheart."

Winking, Danarius slipped her some cash and she disappeared into the back.

"Well, it was a nice chat, but time for me to call it a night; great to meet you mighty Singing Sword. Maybe I'll see you on the battlefield. Be an honor to die by you; or your sword."

[Dragonslayer Helix]

I smirked as I gulped my drink.
"Likewise."
I got up and went to the door.
"If you ever need me, I'll be in the coliseum at the school"

Danarius "did a little jig," before turning through the tavern's inn doors, following a scantily clad damsel waiting for him on the other side.

I smirked and left the tavern.
It started to sprinkle rain then got a little heavier.
"Back into the coliseum I go"

[Kingsley Jorkins]

Chandler stayed put at his place a couple seats down. He had heard every word and took an immense interest in Helix. A Dragonslayer, an actual Dragonslayer would be an interesting obstacle to pass should he choose to interfere. He pulled out his bone flask and stared down at it thoughtfully for a long moment. "Kingsley will like this." He said to himself as he stood up. When he got outside the streets were basically empty. He took a long drink from the flask and pulled a face of disgust. It always had a foul taste like rotting flesh. Soon, however, his expression turned to pain. He felt his body convulsing as it began changing shape. Soon in his place stood a shorter pale boy of teenage age, with long jet black hair, black eyes flecked with emerald green and an odd crescent shaped scar under his chin. His dark eyes stared up at the castle looming ahead for a long moment before he started the slow descent back up to the school.

I felt a nice chill on my spine as the lighting clashed and the thunder roared.
"Beautiful weather we're having"
