Re: THE FESTIVAL

"A part of me is ready for what the future hold, but another part of me isn't sure... I don't know what will happen, but I just have to wait and see." I said

"right you are so lets have fun while we can" i say with a wide grin on my face * i spot tabor flying back* "you ready to continue"

[Hestia]

I nodded "yeah I am ready, Let's hurry and go." I said while I gave a smile

[Jack Neptune]

-following tabor into the luscious tropical forrest i point out the different kinds of plants and animals that occupied it. Hestia seemed to be enjoying her self. After a couple hours of exploring we approached a small clearing in the middle of the forest and gazes upon an archaic looking stone temple. Still standing and lasting through the passage of time. It mimicked the type of temples you find in old japanese culture. It had an eerie look to it sense it has been abandoned for many years. Vegetation almost claiming the exterior of the build and the front entrance way we stand in.

[Hestia]

The temple gave off a mysterious vibe, both Jack and I didn't get close to it but we didn't walk away or stay cleared from it. I decided to break the silence that was around us. "This is really fascinating. Do you think it would be okay for us to go into the temple." Without wait for a response, I walk closer to the entrance and examine the vegetation that blocked the entrance.

[Jack Neptune]

*i noticed a glint coming from the temple and instinctively grabbed hestia and pulled her back. Right as i do so five arrows landed right in the entrance where hestia stepped* " Well it looks like some bandits started using the temple as a treasure trove again" *my eyes burned orange with irritation.*

[Hestia]

"I take it you don't like that they use the temple for their own selfish purpose," I say looking at the place where the arrows landed. "That was too close. If Jack didn't pull me back I probably could have gotten hurt.....What are bandits doing so far out here." I thought.

[Jack Neptune]

"the road to the cobalia isnt to to far from here. so bandits and thieves tend to make this place their storage facility." *lowering my voice to a whisper* "you would of thought the first couple times their treasure goes missing they would learn by now." *i smiled deviously*

[Hestia]

"Well, it looks like that not stopping them. The kinda reminds me of some of the earth insects. No matter how hard you try to move them or disturb their hideouts they will always return to it." I said not giving much of an expression.

[Jack Neptune]

"hmmmm this might be a little dangerous since it seems like these guys are new. Do you want to help me steal what ever is inside the temple" -i whispered-

[Hestia]

I smirked when he said that. " I'm up for it if you are."

[Jack Neptune]

-i find a nearby try to hide our stuff- "alright im going to manipulate the water around us to refract the light so we technically become invisible but you have to jump on my back because the traps are mostly pressure plates and trip wires" *water gathers around my feet* "i can float us to the back door of the temple"

[Hestia]

"Alright, let just hope the bandits don't come back while we are in there." I say. I get behind Jack and jump on his back. I hold on tight so I wouldn't fall. "I have to ask how often have you done this?" I curiously ask.

[Jack Neptune]

"Once every few months. I come here to meditate sometimes but after i started hanging out with ella I haven't been back in a while. I've done this five times in the past, but that was the old group of bandits. I dont recognize the arrangment of the traps this time ." * i pick up an arrow and form water around the tip.* "yup the arrow were not poisoned back then either" *carefully i lift us a few inches off the ground and cautiously made our way to the back of the temple.*

[Hestia]

"How were the old bandit's traps set up like. Were they similar to these new guys or different." I asked. It took a while before we reach the back of the temple. The layout of the traps was thought out carefully and look like the slightest mistake can set them off. "Some of these traps seem strange don't you think?"

[Jack Neptune]

"the old bandits used pitfalls and dart guns and where more spaced around the perimeter. These were set on the inside and are angled in almost like they are trying to keep something in." *i pause after saying that and listens* "They are approaching this area i whispered" *we near the back entrance and i cloak us*

[Hestia]

"What should we do? Do we try to get inside or should we wait to see who these guys are and what they may be hiding?" I whisper. The sounds of footsteps were getting closer and closer. I felt unease.

[Jack Neptune]

*i quickly enter the back entrance. In the corner of the room i manage to spot an opening that wasn't there before and quickly entered it. There was a stairway leading under the temple* "ok we are far enough away from th-" -i whispered then paused when i heard a bone chilling noise. A low snoring noise- "oooooh craaap" -whispered-.

[Hestia]

I slowly got off Jack making sure I didn't make a noise when wI landed on the ground. My eye widen when I see the large fearsome creature. "J-Jack, what is that?" I whisper. We went silent when the creature started to move, yet it still continues to remain in its slumber.

[Jack Neptune]

"that is lexum beast but they are more prevalent to deep underwater burrows. the reason why this one is here is beyond my comprehension. they are highly territorial and will eat any living thing it senses. Its exo-skeleton is extremely durable due to its habitat. it must've burrowed under the lagoon and made its home here. - i whispered-

[Hestia]

"How do we get past it. I could use my power to control the vegetation to move it, but I doubt that will work. More importantly, those bandits will be coming soon if they wake up the lexum then we are all going to be in big trouble." I whispered

[Jack Neptune]

-i looked around then i looked up- "take my hand"

[Hestia]

I nodded and take his hand

-we levitated off the ground over the lexum beast and landed on a strange platform behind it-

I mentally sigh in relief when we made it safely over the lexum without disturbing it. "Now which way do we go?" I whisper.
