[Tavarius]

"Why not have a brunch? It'll give us time to speak and settle in," I said, floating my luggage over towards the door of my room, "and unless you would like a meal only worthy of a campfire, I may be of little use cooking."

[Athemise]

"Surprise me," I smiled as I sat on the rail of the stairs as he placed his suitcase there. I swung my feet and almost lost my balance.

[Tavarius]

I reached out, to catch Athemise before she fell over, and felt blood rush to my face when she caught herself, "it looks like you'll be the one surprising me!" I laughed, trying to divert my embarrassment, before grumbling to myself about how lame I was, as I wandered searching for the kitchen.

[Athemise]

I laughed nervously and jumped off the rail, "Guess so." I said and followed him. "So what should we eat?" I asked him

[Tavarius]

I searched the pantry and found a hoard of food I was mostly unfamiliar with, "a place like this might have vineyards and orchards on the property yes? So close to an ocean, maybe even a fishery? Some sunlight might be nice, gathering our meals fresh together sounds like fun to me."

[Athemise]

I laughed at his look in the pantry. "Yes we do have that on r property. I'll leave that to you. I might be a good cook but only in certain stuff" I laughed at him. "A stroll sounds nice. We can look together." I said to him.

[Tavarius]

"Very good," I said, walking along outside, towards the nearest trees in hopes of fruit to find, before I blurted out with a classic Colagartrune lack of finesse, "I don't know how to act around you, so I'm sorry it's been an awkward start. I suppose most royalty get some sort of training in this regard, making small talk, or being charming in general really."

[Athemise]

I walked along side him, "I have to agree. It's fine if it's awkward. I can see why. Royalty so it's natural. Small talk gets weird. Find out that the person is with someone else so you might be afraid you won't get a chance, am I right?" I said kind of reading his mind.

[Tavarius]

"Yes, especially since, to be perfectly honest, marrying you was not an entirely expected turn of events. When I was dispatched, it was as a mere ambassador. It is why I of all people was sent; it was a simple mission I could weasel my way in to. Nobody cared who was sent, so I made some waves and requested the opportunity. Your mother however, she sort of... blackmailed me, I suppose is the word."

[Athemise]

"What do you mean?" I raised an eyebrow and stopped walking.

[Tavarius]

I cleared my throat, "well she doesn't know the full set of details, but she's very persistent. She knows I'm not being completely honest about who I came in representation of. Yes I am a lieutenant of the dark dragon army, but that is more of a foundation for the future. I believe Justice mentioned it to you a few times. I am in fact an Emperor, but only by technicality. It is a dead Empire, and I am its only heir, so I've been trying to rebuild it in secret; right under the King's nose. Your mother knows I'm deceiving him, she prods at my mind constantly, and she saw an opportunity to use our positions to make a play for the dark dragon army's favor. So she's holding the information back, for now, she knows I cannot drop the facade yet, for whatever reason matters not to her. Once we're married, she will have fulfilled her duties to Amets, and whatever I am scheming she will not have to worry of."

I stopped and felt the impulse to reassure her, "but that doesn't mean I am against marrying you altogether. I am very much infatuated with you- I mean you're worthy of attraction-not that I don't adore you-er but I mean, you're a very pretty girl..." I started rubbing my neck and looked away, feeling like my head would explode if I kept talking.

[Athemise]

I grabbed his arm and stopped him from leaving, "So you're not just marrying me out of status?" I said to him as ok I looked at him in the eye, "A secret empire. I'm interested, keep Going."

[Tavarius]

"Not just out of status," I turned back as she grabbed me, and looked upon her like a sad pup, the hopeful, but insecure face of the typical child confessing their admiration. Of course that thought only made me feel all the more foolish.

"Not exactly secret," I rushed to a near tree, desperately searching for fruit in hopes there would be something to change the topic, "but the leadership is. The reason the dark dragon King stalled his advance on the Galaxy was not for political reasons, but now he is forced to consider them. He is no longer in absolute control; as you saw with Necros, there are dark dragons free from his control. One group engages in open war with him, my people."

[Athemise]

"I see. We'll thank god we'll be allies." I smiled and pointed out some fruit. "There's one there." I said trying to reach but made a sad face of how short I was. "After the brunch we can go see the lighthouse! It has a nice view of the ocean!"

[Tavarius]

I reached out with an arm and gripped rapidly, snapping the branch with a telekinetic pulse, and pulling the fruit towards me. I smiled offering it to Athemise.

"The lighthouse would be great then. It's a shame it isn't a safe swim. I love the water. I guess I get that from my father," I chuckled, continuing to search fruit.

[Athemise]

He gave me the fruit and looked to the floor smiling. "I do too. There is a lake not to far from here if you want to go. The water is safe." I said as we collected more fruit.

[Tavarius]

"That would be great!" I said, enthusiastic, "I haven't swam since... Since one of my youngest memories I think!"

[Athemise]

"Well we should go soon before it rains..." I said to him with the thought of thunder and shrugged. "I can't wait" I said as we collected enough to head back

[Ambrose]

"What would you suggest?" He asked following her Into her office. He was anxious to get away from the castle honestly, wanting to at least get outside for a bit. However he was willing to comply mostly with whatever the queen wanted.

[Athemise]

"Whatever you want. You are the guest. If you're interested on what Athey and Tavarius are up to, just tell me." she smiled a bit evils as if she had some tricks up her sleeve

[Ambrose]

"What they do on there trip is of no business to me." Silver replied flatly, knowing how he'd react if he saw something he didn't like.

[Athemise]

"I see. Very well then. So we can see the town, explore old ruins. Has Athemise told you about Adrastia. People think she's the reincarnation of her," she said as she pulled out a map of places to go. "Her story is an interesting one too."

[Ambrose]

"Yes, I believe she did mention that briefly." Silver said glancing over the map and making mental notes of where several key places were. "If you don't mind my asking, but was your marriage arranged as well?"

[Tavarius]

"You're afraid of storms?" I asked, having felt her flit of distress, I began rambling in matching her own feelings and nearly collapsing from the momentum of swirling and stopping suddenly with a basket of fruit, "if you'd rather stay near the house, it would be completely acceptable; more than acceptable, we could always find other things to do! I could perhaps tell you a Colagartrune story, we could play a game, or we could just talk! We don't have to be out while the threat of a storm looms!"

[Athemise]

"We got lucky. We fell in love and when I found out I was marrying him I was happy. I would have done the same in Athey's position. But she's different. She loves her planet more than anything. I never seen so much devotion before and to give up the things She needs for others is remarkable." She said proudly, "I don't hate you or dislike you, Silver. You're an ok guy. Just we want the clairvoyanncy to remain in our blood. Very few have it. I was jealous when we found out she was clairvoyant." She sighed.

I smiled. "I'm not afraid. Thunder damages my hearing and mind putting me in pain and giving me hallucinations. I'm just glad I'm not alone." I said shaking my head. "I just hope you won't freak out." I warned him
